Payment & Pricing Policy

Moksyz is committed to transparent pricing and secure payment processing. This Payment & Pricing Policy explains how product prices, currencies, taxes, promotions and payments are handled when shopping on Moksyz.com.

This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy.

1. Product Prices

The price applicable to a product is the price displayed on Moksyz.com at the time the customer places the order, subject to any clearly disclosed promotion, discount or correction of an obvious pricing error.

Product prices may change from time to time due to:

• promotional campaigns;
• sale periods;
• supplier or brand pricing changes;
• currency movements;
• tax changes; or
• other legitimate commercial reasons.

A subsequent price change does not normally affect an order that has already been confirmed.

Prices and payment-related terms for UAE ecommerce transactions should be presented clearly to consumers, and advertised prices must not be misleading.

2. Currency

Prices may be displayed in the currency applicable to the customer's selected market or shopping experience.

The final currency and amount payable will be shown during checkout before payment is completed.

Where a customer's bank, card issuer or payment provider converts the transaction into another currency, its own:

• exchange rate;
• conversion charge;
• international transaction fee; or
• other bank charge

may apply.

Such charges are determined by the customer's financial institution and are not controlled by Moksyz.

3. UAE VAT

For orders subject to UAE taxation, VAT is applied in accordance with applicable UAE tax requirements.

Where applicable, the final amount payable, including applicable tax, will be shown during the checkout process.

4. International Taxes and Duties

International orders may be subject to destination-country:

• import duties;
• VAT or sales taxes;
• customs charges;
• brokerage fees; or
• other government-imposed charges.

Where such charges are not expressly included in the checkout total, they may be payable separately by the customer to the courier, customs authority or relevant government authority.

Any applicable product price, shipping charge and amounts collected directly by Moksyz will be displayed during checkout.

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are separate from product pricing where applicable.

Our current standard shipping structure is:

UAE: Free Standard Shipping
Eligible GCC destinations: AED 50 Standard Shipping
Other supported international destinations: AED 75 Standard Shipping

The actual shipping charge applicable to an order is shown during checkout before the order is placed.

No additional logistics fee should be imposed contrary to the logistics charges disclosed in the applicable digital contract or terms. UAE ecommerce legislation expressly addresses disclosure of product, logistics and digital-payment pricing.

6. Payment Methods

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

The methods available to an individual customer may vary depending on factors such as:

• country or region;
• currency;
• order value;
• payment-provider availability; and
• technical or security requirements.

Only payment methods actually presented during checkout should be considered available for a particular order.

7. Secure Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through Shopify and/or authorized third-party payment providers.

Customers may be required to complete additional verification requested by:

• their bank;
• card issuer;
• payment provider; or
• Moksyz's fraud-prevention systems.

An order may remain pending until payment authorization and any required verification have been completed.

UAE technology-based trade law provides consumers with a right to safe purchasing and payment methods.

8. Payment Authorization

By submitting payment details, the customer confirms that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.

An order may be declined or cancelled where:

• payment authorization fails;
• the payment provider declines the transaction;
• submitted information cannot be verified;
• suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity is identified; or
• another legitimate payment or compliance issue prevents completion.

Where payment has already been captured for an order that Moksyz subsequently cannot fulfil, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with our policies.

9. Credit and Debit Card Charges

Moksyz does not add an additional product-price surcharge merely because a customer pays using a credit card.

UAE Consumer Protection Executive Regulations state that providers must not add an additional amount to the value of goods when credit cards are used to purchase goods or services.

A customer's own bank or card issuer may nevertheless impose charges such as foreign-exchange or international transaction fees, which are outside Moksyz's control.

10. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional codes, vouchers and discount offers are subject to their stated:

• validity period;
• eligible products or brands;
• minimum purchase requirements;
• market restrictions; and
• other promotion-specific conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

• discount codes must be applied during checkout;
• only eligible products qualify;
• expired promotions cannot be applied;
• discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively to completed orders; and
• multiple promotions may not necessarily be combined.

Promotional and advertised pricing will be presented in a manner intended to avoid misleading customers, consistent with UAE consumer-pricing requirements.

11. Sale Prices

Products may periodically be offered at reduced or promotional prices.

Where a product is purchased during an active sale or promotional period, the price successfully accepted at checkout will normally apply to that order.

The fact that a product was purchased at a discounted price does not remove applicable rights relating to:

• defective goods;
• damaged goods;
• incorrect supply; or
• other non-conformity covered by applicable consumer law.

12. Price Changes After Purchase

If the price of a product is reduced after an order has been confirmed, Moksyz is not normally required to retrospectively apply the later promotional price to the earlier order, except where:

• a specific promotion provides otherwise;
• Moksyz expressly agrees; or
• applicable law requires another outcome.

Similarly, an increase in price after confirmation will not normally increase the amount payable for an already confirmed order.

13. Obvious Pricing Errors

Although we take reasonable care when publishing product prices, an obvious pricing or technical error may occasionally occur.

Where a price is clearly incorrect because of a genuine technical, administrative or data error, Moksyz may contact the customer before fulfilment to explain the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• offer the customer the opportunity to proceed at the correct price; or
• cancel the affected item or order and refund any amount already paid.

Nothing in this section permits misleading pricing or removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Checkout Total

Customers should review the complete checkout summary before placing an order.

Depending on the transaction, the checkout may show:

• product subtotal;
• discounts;
• shipping charges;
• applicable taxes;
• duties collected in advance, where applicable; and
• final amount payable.

The amount confirmed during checkout forms the basis of the customer's payment, subject to the Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

UAE ecommerce rules specifically require digital traders to make pricing, logistics fees and digital-payment service terms available to consumers.

15. Invoices and Order Confirmation

After a successful transaction, customers will receive an electronic order confirmation and/or invoice containing the relevant transaction information.

UAE consumer and ecommerce legislation requires providers to supply appropriate transaction/invoice information and provides for a detailed electronic invoice in technology-based trade.

Customers should retain their order confirmation or invoice for:

• returns;
• warranty enquiries;
• customer-service requests; and
• other order-related matters.

16. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the separate Returns & Refunds Policy.

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method.

Where an eligible refund is approved, Moksyz aims to process it within up to 6 calendar days after the applicable returned item has been received and inspected.

The customer's bank or payment provider may require additional time, potentially up to approximately 14 days, before the funds appear in the customer's account.

17. Refund of Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable where a return results solely from:

• change of mind;
• preference; or
• a size selected by the customer.

However, where applicable consumer law requires the original standard delivery charge to be refunded, Moksyz will comply with that requirement.

Where an incorrect, damaged, defective or otherwise non-conforming item was supplied by Moksyz, applicable shipping costs will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.

18. Payment Disputes

If you believe you have been:

• charged incorrectly;
• charged more than once;
• charged for a cancelled order; or
• affected by another payment issue,

please contact Moksyz Customer Service before initiating a payment dispute where reasonably possible so that we can investigate the transaction.

This does not restrict any lawful right available through your bank, payment provider or applicable consumer-protection mechanism.

19. Changes to This Policy

Moksyz may update this Payment & Pricing Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

• payment methods;
• pricing practices;
• taxes;
• currencies;
• business operations; or
• legal or regulatory requirements.

Updates will apply prospectively and will not normally alter the agreed price of an already confirmed order.
